Wednesday, March 23, 2011. I knew there was going to be damage from the earthquake and poverty, but what I saw was beyond my expectations. That is all in Port-au-Prince. Another thing that I had not expected was that outside of the capital, things are almost back to normal. Other than receiving goods and support from PaP, the rural communities are getting along pretty well! Out in the country I saw more of the lively spirit I had experienced in Africa.
